If the microphone will be constantly moving throughout the performance, it is best to set a number of filters to auto mode, so that they constantly seek and destroy feedback that occurs.

If you will continue to use the i7100 under the same conditions each time, don't forget to save those settings as a user preset to avoid having to set the device up every time you use it. Sure, the i7100 has a memory function, but there’s no harm in having a back-up program – just in case!

Don’t forget, after setting your filters – test them! With all your equipment set up, you should rehearse under conditions that are identical to those of your actual performance (or speech, depending on what you’re doing), and see how the feedback detection settings you have work out for you.

Remember: Auto mode tends to catch feedback slower than you would like, so use Single Shot and Parametric modes whenever possible.
