Do the MAX series of amplifiers have built-in limiters?

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

The MAX series of power amplifiers do indeed have limiters. It can be activated by the limiter switch on the rear panel. However, when the peak limiter is on, it does not guarantee that there will be zero distortion on the output, but it does ensure that the output power is limited. It protects your speakers from being overdriven if there are any abnormal power fluctuations in the power amplifier.
