Continuing to integrate technology with both functionality and dependability, Phonic today announces the development and availability of the ZA100 3-zone public address amplifier. The ZA100 is a five input, 3-zone public address amplifier with an onboard USB player for direct playback of MP3 or WAV files.

The ZA100’s five input channels include 3 microphone and 2 line channels, each of which has its own adjustable level control. Microphone input can be achieved through either ¼” phone jack or XLR cables using the included combo jacks. Each of the line channels offers stereo RCA input connectors, while Line 1 offers additional ¼” TRS phone jack inputs and Line 2 further includes mini-stereo inputs.

Zones 1 and 2 each has a 100V output, while users are able to take advantage of the additional 4 ohm output – all through screw terminal outputs for permanent installations. The bass and treble of the main output mix can be adjusted using the onboard 2-band EQ. A variable echo control can be applied to further spice up input signals. Chime and announcement tones were included to accompany announcements.

The ZA100 is one-of-a-kind, in that there’s currently no product on the market quite like it. It’s an exciting combination of a mixer/amplifier and a stand-alone zone mixer.  This is a natural step forward for Phonic’s range of installation products as it continues to grow its products and market share in the sector. The design of the ZA100 has been directly inspired by users and a long list of wants and needs that we’ve received. The end result is a very cohesive, functional, user-friendly PA amplifier.”

The first preview of this new multi-zone public address amplifier will be given to the public at the upcoming Prolight+Sound Show in Frankfurt, Germany between the 6th and 9th of April. You can visit Phonic at booth K41 in Hall 8 to see the ZA100 on display.
