As Phonic attends the 2010 PALM Show in Beijing, China this week, it intends to bring something a little different to the table.  Phonic is teaming up with its new Chinese distribution partner, ACTON, to provide a thorough introductory product seminar for dealers and the public.  During this seminar, the entire catalog of Phonic products will be discussed, with extra attention being paid to new and popular products.

AlarFederico “Alar” Simonazzi will be presenting a host of new and existing Phonic products at the seminar, with the Summit digital mixer being the obvious ‘hot topic’ at the moment.  Catch the seminar at the Radisson Blu Hotel from 2 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2010.  In attendance at the seminar will be China's top 20 dealers as well as major system integrators.   Other members of the industry who wish to attend are welcome to, although gift bags and other promotional material will be limited.

Federico is an accomplished and charismatic DJ, writer, producer, re-mixer and educator.  He also runs Alar's Recording Studio in Rome. Federico is a Steinberg certified teacher and has written articles, reviews, and has provided multimedia assistance to various Italian publications including Fare Musica, Music Link, and Music File.

This year’s PALM Show has proved to be an unprecedented success for Phonic.  Today – the first day of the show – the entire stock of Phonic catalogs were snatched up by show-goers in just an hour and a half after the hall opene.  More are being shipped express to the show to fill continuing requests.  Phonic Marketing Manager, Barry Lin, reports that visitors are "shoulder-to-shoulder, packed into the Phonic booth."  He later added, "I can barely move."

ACTONInterest in Phonic products is obviously high, due greatly to the increased marketing of the products to the Chinese market by ACTON, as well as the impending global release of the Summit digital mixer.  "We’re ecstatic about the response we’ve gotten thus far," says Grant Murray, Phonic product marketing specialist.  "We can only hope that the coming 3 days will be as successful as the first has been."

The PALM Show continues until May 22 at the Beijing International Convention Center.  Attendees are invited to visit Phonic in Hall 3, booth 3507.
