How do I use the i7100 to eliminate feedback from my monitors?
Using preset 6 is indeed the simplest way to use the i7100. This sets every filter to automatic mode, which means one filter will seek feedback, and when it finds it the next filter will seek the feedback, and so forth.
Setting the threshold to a low level will allow the i7100 to detect and kill the feedback... more

How does the RTA work on the i7600?
The i7600s RTA function measures the channel 1 and 2 inputs at a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz / second. The individual frequencies are separated as indicated on the front panel (listed horizontally), and the last bar of each channels RTA is known as the all column (meaning it displays all frequencies signals... more

Can I use the i7200 as a passive crossover?
No. The i7200 was designed to be used before the amplifier, dealing with line-level signals only. It will definitely cause damage to the unit if you placed it in the path between an amplifier and speakers.

I need to use the PPC Power Conditioner with products that need 220V - will it work?
The PPC Power Conditioner should work fine. It has a 10 amp rating, so you should first work out how many amps you need before starting. If your devices do draw more than 10 amps, the circuit breaker will trip. Otherwise, you're fine.

T8100 transparency and warmth
The preamp of the T8100 is transparent, and users are able to get a 'vintage' and warm sound from it (warmth is variable; you can select cool or warm, or anywhere in between, with one control). Also, the T8100 is perfectly suited to be used before a guitar amplifier or vocals alike. more

Setting up the i7100 Feedback Silencer
Connect the microphone to your mixer, then the mixer to your i7100. The outputs of the i7100 can then be connected to an amp and speakers (or you may also like to connect the i7100 to a channel insert, if its easier).
The easiest way to set up the i7100 is to recall preset 6, which ensures all filters are set to... more

Brave new world of digital equalization
The traditional smiley-face curves of analog equalizers have begun to be replaced by a new generation of digital equalizers. Digital equalizers can offer more precise frequency settings as well as other options that allow users to optimize the sound mix in any given room. Regardless of what your audio needs are,... more

What can I make the most out of my i7100 Feedback Silencer?
When using stationary microphones, which will tend to cause feedback with fixed frequencies, use Single Shot mode to detect feedback frequencies and lock the frequencies until you reset them yourself.
If the microphone will be constantly moving throughout the performance, it is best to set a number of filters to... more
