I'am a current owner of the PAA2 & PAA3 and use them in conjuction with my own sound company, (Backstage in Virginia) and I'am the Monitor Technician for the band Paramore. I use the PAA3 to reference everything from FOH, Monitors, and being able to get a consist curve day in and day out. The PAA3 is very flat from as low as 20 hz to 20000 hz. The PAA3 offers a pink generator with memory for storing and recalling your freq curves, pop tones for polarity testing and SPL for those applications where there is tough DB limits . The PAA3 will help ensure that what your hearing and seeing is accuarant in what ever enviroment your end up in. The PAA3 is the perfect tool for the serious audio enginner.

"This is an amazing unit, particularly when you realize it sells for $450! A friend (who works at an audio consultant firm specializing in commercial and residential audio/video system design and installations) said that he sees getting one for each of their installers and field technicians, since it's affordable, and if it gets damaged beyond repair, replacement is also affordable."

"The PAA2's range of diagnostic tools, ease of use, build quality and absolutely affordable street price should put the PAA2 at the top of every audio engineer's Christmas list."

"I was impressed how intuitive it was to operate the PAA3. In five minutes, without reading the manual, I was making RTA and SPL measurements. I liked the unit's clear labeling and large, easy-to-read text in the LCD display, which can be backlit for use in dim venues. The built-in mic swivels into position and locks at a 45-degree angle relative to the sides of the analyzer - preventing sound reflections off the analyzer into the mic."

I have this little fellow cause I didnt get other brand that I wanted, but first time I use the RTA I was like AWSOME!!!

Low frequencies are not a problem any more, just check the PAA3 RTA reading at the lowest frequency, correct it at my EQ and WAY TO GO!!!

congratulations on such a good technical tool, the price is cool too.

I did pro sound for international bands that visited Eugene Oregon and other towns nearby in the mid 80's and have always done sound for the band I played in. I recently bought the PAA2 to use with my current band and it has lived up to all my expectations and then some. I used a Rane RTA back in the mid 80's and loved it and this device has far surpassed that piece of gear. You are to be commended for a very fine piece of engineering and I will pass the word around that any and all fellow musicians that do the sound for their band should go ahead and spend the money on this as it will make their world so much easier and get many a smile from their band mates, club owners and audience. I have always understood that the human ear cannot hear the slight changes in EQ that an RTA can hear and thus anyone that wants to give their audience great sound needs to toss their ego aside and go with the RTA.
